Easy Rider

Here I am with my five year old son after teaching him how to ride his bike with no training wheels. He was very excited and it made me very proud. As I watched him pedal away for the first time. I had a flashback to when I was five years old in Houston Texas and my dad did the same thing for me. Getting me to ride without training wheels even though I was scared. Then when I figured it out I was so proud of myself. What I mean is I know exactly how my son felt and I felt it again when he rode off into the Pittsburgh sunset with no training wheels. There is no turning back now. He is a fast riding daredevil!

Do you remember when you first learned how to ride your bike? Where were you and who taught you? Posted by Hello

I was 15 when I learned how to ride. My cousin who is also my step dad let go of the back of my unicycle and I rolled right into the back of our horse and buggy. I smelled like horse's tail for days but I will never forget it!
