My Review of the Kenny Chesney Stadium Concert
I thought the concert was awesome. I was told at the show that Renee Zellweger was sitting in suite #435. I was in suite #427. Also I heard that Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen were there. But suprisingly to me NONE of them joined Kenny on stage. Only Gretchen Wilson & Uncle Kracker performed with Kenny. Gretchen sang the Mellencamp song "Hurts so Good" with Kenny and Uncle Kracker did THREE songs with Kenny including the Kid Rock rap "Cowboy".
I was really impressed with Gretchen Wilson. I can see her headlining a tour in a few years. She is a super talent and she is COUNTRY. No doubt about it. I love her songs, voice and style.
Keith Urban is the best musician in country music hands down. He was on fire saturday night. His jam during "You'll think of me" was my highlight of the night.
Kenny has so many great songs. I love his music. He left out my favorite song "What I need to Do" and I thought he should have brought his wife, Tom Petty and the Boss on stage. Why not? Over 50,000 fans, ABC was there recording his thanksgiving special and they were all there. Bring em out.
My favorite Kenny songs saturday night were "Old Blue Chair", "Hurts so Good" with Gretchen, "Thats why I'm here", "No Shoes, NO shirt, No problem" and "There goes my life".
In true Pittsburgh form the crowd boo'd when Kenny inroduced one of his band members from Cinncinati but they never broke into "Here We Go Steelers". By the way the only Steeler mention I heard was from Keith Urban when he said something about this being "Steeler Country". Your dang right it is. It's also a country music crazy area and we took over Pittsburgh saturday night. Kenny said on stage that it was their biggest party of the year. That was a beautiful thang.

The concert did indeed rock!!! Gretchen was on fire Saturday.& Kenny and Gretchen sounded AWESOME. I was really looking for Kenny to bring out Renee or someone else really famous, but didn't happen. We heard alot of Steeler chants when Kenny sang Back where I come From & they showed the Steeler sign & logo. The whole Froggy section went nuts!!!! Keith Urban almost stole the show in my opinion. He is the greatest guitar player in country if you ask me.
I really thought that Kenny Chesney put on the best part of the concert, The HERE WE GO STEELERS chants were awesome esspeacially right beofre the encore when he come back out to do There Goes My Life and She Thinks My tractors Sexy....I had the best time of my life!!@ It was my 13th concert and It was the best
The concert was great, but there is no better performer than Keith Urban. It was my 4th time to see him in concert, and he just gets better and better. My goal is to be able to see him from the front row someday, that would be awesome. He really puts his heart and soul into his shows! Can't wait until he returns to the 'burgh!!!
Keith did steal the show... kuddo's to him and Gretchen...
Loved the show... I wish they'd not serve, or at least cut back on the beer... ruined the evening with so many drunk "kid's" around...

The show was great! For as great as Kenny was - Keith stole the show. What made the show even better. . . Danger Frog - right next door! : )
Thought the show was great! Pat Green has been in the burgh a few times and seems to enjoy being in Pittsburgh! Gretchen was great, Keith was the best and Kenny, well, he's a classic! Disappointed it took him ten minutes to come out from behind the curtain at first. He and Renee believe that they don't want the other person to steal each others thunder, so they travel separately for now.
Keith Urban out-did Kenny by a long shot---Keith rocked !!!
Kenny was too busy singing for the camera for his TV special, instead of to the crowd....it was very disappointing...

WOW. The concert was AMAZING. it left me speechless with how good it was. Everyone was sooo good. from kracker to kenny i was having soo much fun
Keith Urban was INCREDIBLE! not only is he soo hott, he's also soo talented and cared soo much about getting the audience to have a good time. he definitely needs to come back. he's soo good at what he does. we were dancing the entire time he was on.
Kenny was AMAZING as well. we didn't sit down the entire time he was on. the performance with gretchen just amazed me. so great. and he's so hott, which made it even better! o yea i got to meet him before it all!!! amazing. he's such a sweetheart and down to earth person. yess!!

i thought the entire show was great!!! the kenny and gretchen duet was awesome. I can not say anything bad about the show itself, but seating on the field the chairs were wire tied together and we'll say a large person was half on my seat the entire show. prices and traffic were kinda a drag. it was the best kenny show i've seen thus far though. Plus our group brought a hooter meter it was hysterical we had parking lot entertainment.

The show was great. It was one of the best I have ever seen. The day belonged to Urban. Kenny was not half as good as Urban. Kenny should have had more guest on stage with him. Insted he had Uncle Kracker do three songs. And one of those we had already heard earlier. Pat Green was very good and Grechin Wilson was awsome. Kenny's and her duet was the highlight of his set. Great show hope they do it again but next time Urban should close the show.
Is it just me or is it Gretchen getting hotter? She is a real country girl and I bet she is fun to party with!
I thought the show was excellent. I enjoyed every one of the performers. I really was hoping that kenny would sing "The good stuff". Waited but it never happened. That's the song that hooked my husband and I into country music. He cries everytime he hears it. It was just a great night and the whole atmosphere of all those fans was incredible.
I would turn my house into the Froggy House for a kiss on the cheek form keith urban!!!!!!!
The Kenny concert was a blast to say the least we took our boat up from weirton with another boater nad had a heck of time if you thought the inside was good you should of been on the river the sites were something to be seen and you could hear the music great there was a boat beside us with a froggy 98.3 sign across the windshield.
The concert was great. It was the first concert for both of my daughters. Just watching the excitement on their faces when Keith Urban and Kenny Chesney took the stage was priceless. We had such nice people around us. The whole concert was fun from beginning to end. Although I felt Keith connected with us alittle more than Kenny. But in any case we are all ready to do it all again.
I think that the concert was absolutely amazing! Being out of state, coming back home to the Burgh made me realize how great it was to be back! Not only were the performers amazing with Keith Urban TOTALLY interacting and getting the crowd pumped up to Kenny Chesney rocking the crowd and the camera all night long. I especially loved the Steeler craze that was going on in my section of the stadium..TRUE FANS awaiting the start of the season letting the whole country know who has the best fans! This was my 2nd country concert and it was wonderful, everyone did an excellent job singing and entertaining..but I have to go with the majority of the people and say Urban was the best performer and such a hottie:-)
My name is Caitlin! I thought the concert was amazing! This was my first country concert and won't be my last! Kenny was amazing, Keith Urban was really amazing, and Gretchen was sooo much fun! I wasn't a big fan of Pat Green. Uncle Kracker was ok! We were up in the upper level seats, then we got moved down to lower level seats because we complained about the sound system! We sat by a bunch of Steeler fans! We even started a Here We Go Steelers chant in the stadium! Anyways, it definetly was a concert worth the price, and one I will remember forever! I cannot wait to see the ABC special so I can relive the memories again and all the fun I had!
