Interviewing is an Art

Before you interview someone you should have some questions prepared before hand. But you have to also be prepared to go with the flow if the person your interviewing starts talking about something funny that you had not planned on. I love it when that happens. Honestly my questions are ready in case the interview becomes stale.
The best interviews are when you can toss aside your questions and just talk. But you can have a good interview with just about anyone if you are prepared with good questions and you have done some homework on your subject. I always try to get atleast one funny moment out of an interview. One great quote/soundbyte per interview. Sometimes I get alot more but you need atleast one to make it a good interview.
