Born on the same day

This is Kristi (left) and Kara (right) they listen to my show and emailed me to let me know they were born on the same day I was on August 27th 1973. It is not often you meet someone that shares your birthday and birth year. These lovely ladies do (they are twins if you could not tell).

I love twins and having my birthday. Kristi and Kara happy birthday to you. If I ever meet you in person I will buy us all three a birthday beer. You see that is one of the reasons country music is so popular now. You got twins listening. Do not underestimate the power of country music, cold beer "AND TWIIIINS"!

But like I was saying happy birthday to anyone else who celebrates on August 27th and knows what it is like to get school clothes for their birthday every year. By the way me and the twins are 32 today. Bridgette Campbell guessed that I was 32 on my show and won backstage passes to meet Lonestar & Dierks Bentley at Point State Park this weekend.

Thanks to everyone that sent me cards, emails, letters, pizza (thanks Kim) and called into my show wishing me a happy birthday. At my age a birthday is really just another day but it does still feel good when someone takes the time to make you feel special. Thats what we all really want right? To feel special every now and then.

I feel special listening to country music, with a cold beer "AND TWIIIIINS".
