Chris Cagle story
In my opinion country singer Chris Cagle is lucky. He found out the truth. He is not the father of his girlfriends baby. After listening back to his interview on Froggy on August 29th (five weeks ago)it is apparent that his girlfriend was not honest with him.
Here is a portion of what Chris Cagle said during our interview on Froggy August 29th 2005 talking about how he wrote his new song "Miss Me Baby".
Chris responded... “It’s probably the most honest I’ve ever been with my guitar. I was in a tough spot, I guess, emotionally. Just because of the fact that Tammy and I had had a fight and she hadn’t answered the phone call for a…MY phone call for a couple of weeks. I finally called her dad. Her dad was like buddy I think she’s done I think she went on date last night and…Which she hadn’t but…It just kinda made me sit back and think and ofcourse the song worked and we got back together and got pregnant (laugh)”.
Chris Cagle is a super talent and as a father I feel for him. What an emotional roller coaster to think you are becoming a father then get a kick in the gut like this. I am glad he knows the truth and I hope he has nothing but success in the future. His new CD "Anywhere but Here" is on sale now!

your assuming that whoever the REAL father is will not want to raise his child?
It's sad that in this world we have children growing up in households without their real fathers. It's also sad that some children and fathers go for years not really knowing if they are their children or not and some even get the bomb dropped on them years and years later. We see all the stupid talk shows like Maury doing shows about finding the babys daddy and I just don't get how they can subject their children do this. Do they even think before they spread their legs.
Poor Chris is stuck in a mess. That's a horrible thing to have happen to such a great guy. He writes some of the most beautiful music and only days before his new album gets released this atomic bomb is dropped on him. What was that girl thinking! How could she cheat on such an amazing person.
I think it was all about the attention. Look at the attention she's getting now. If you've read the post on Chris' website the boy is just devestated by this. Of course, I don't blame him one bit. I hope that the real father is someone that will take responsibilty for the child. It's not Chris' responsibility. That damn woman needs to keep her legs shut (sorry... somebody had to say it)

I think chris should leave his girlfriend because, that is a pretty big thing to lie about especially because he was so excited to be a father!!! And also if he is single he could maybe hook up with my mom!! lol
I don't feel so sorry for him. I hear he had no problem walking away from the children he was raising with his ex-wife. He talked her into leaving her husband to marry him when her son was just a baby! To top it off, he let the fame go to his head and started cheating on her. Although I don't agree with his girlfriend keeping the truth from him, what goes around comes around! He humilated his ex-wife and now he is getting his!
I totally disagree with you. That is a very mean comment. His first wife did not have to leave her husband? His job is not to raise her kids! Leave Chris Cagle alone he is my man!
